What we liked
It comes ready to use—no need to season from scratch. Even heating and excellent retention for searing and baking. Works on stovetop, in the oven, and on the grill. The price is a fraction of “boutique” cast iron with the same performance. Easy to maintain with basic care.
What we didn’t
It’s heavy. Not ideal for someone who can’t lift a heavy pan. The surface is a bit rougher than old smooth cast iron—it improves with use. Avoid acidic long simmers until the seasoning is well built.
Verdict
