The 11th-gen Kindle Paperwhite is the sweet spot in Amazon's lineup: larger screen, warm light, and waterproofing without the Oasis price. We read on it daily for a month.
What we liked
The 6.8-inch screen and 300 ppi make text sharp and easy on the eyes. Warm light is great at night. Battery lasts weeks with daily reading. Waterproofing means peace of mind at the pool or in the bath. USB-C is a welcome update.
What we didn't
No physical page-turn buttons (those are on the Oasis). The plastic back can feel a bit plain compared to premium tablets—but it's light and grippy.
Verdict
The best e-reader for most people. We earn a commission from qualifying purchases.
