The eufy SoloCam S340 is a wireless security camera with a solar panel so you never have to charge it. We mounted it outside and used it for a month.
What we liked
Solar panel kept the battery topped off even in partly shaded spots. 4K video is sharp and night vision is usable. No subscription—footage stays on the camera or optional HomeBase. Person and pet detection reduce false alerts. Easy to install with the included mount.
What we didn't
Solar works best with decent sun exposure. App is good but not as polished as Ring or Nest. No continuous recording without a HomeBase.
Verdict
Best wire-free camera if you have a sunny spot. We earn a commission from qualifying purchases.
